Forest Nymph in Spring; While Mom and Dad slumbered.

Wondering where I was?

I went outside, and everything's fresh and beautiful; 
it rained in the night.
The cardinals have returned!
I saw a female and a male eating 
seeds on the porch.
I also saw a pair of chickadees,
male and female, bathing
together in the birdbath.
When I woke up, outside
it was warm: 59 degrees!
That's why I chose
to go outside; I 
wanted to enjoy the
beauty.
